  • Entrance Fee: For Indians, the entry fee is Rs25 whereas for foreigners it is Rs 30. One can also visit this place by the Amber Fort –Hawa Mahal Jaipur sightseeing composite ticket. The ticket is valid for 2days and comes at a price of Rs150 for Indians and Rs 300 for foreigners. An audio guide is also available with this which comes at a price of Rs 90 for Indians and Rs 130 for foreigners.

Sisodia Rani Palace and Garden, is one of the most pleasant Mughal garden of Jaipur. This charbagh style Mughal garden was constructed in 1728 by the then Suryavanshi Rajput Maharaja of Udaipur Sawai Jai Singh as a token of love for his wife, Queen Sisodia. Hence, the Sisodia Rani Palace Garden. The place is decorated with multi-layered palace, springs, fountains and flower beds. Just like any other Mughal garden. One of most unique features of this garden are beautiful mural paintings of Radha-Krishna depicted on the walls of the garden. Queen Sisodia is believed to have spent her leisure on this pastures. Apart from the architecture and floral beauties that decorate the place, the garden is frequented by the peacocks of the pink city. One may remember this iconic place from the Sridevi-Anil Kapoor starrer Yash Raj Film of 1991 “Lamhe”.

The ideal time for visiting this place is in the monsoon when the peacocks are in full bloom and also in winter when the climate is pleasant. July-March is the ideal timing for visiting this garden.

This legendary Mughal garden is quite accessible as it sits at a distance of mere 10km from Jaipur on the Jaipur-Agra Highway and can be entered by the Ghat Gate. Cars, Local buses and auto rickshaws regularly ply to and fro between Jaipur and Sisodia Palace at a price of Rs400.
