  • Entrance Fee: For adults, the entrance fee of the museum is 75 INR per head. For children between the ages of 6-12 years, the fee is 35 INR. For clicking pictures inside the museum, you will need to pay a fee of 20 INR.
  • Visiting Time: Tata tea museum remains closed on all Mondays and the occasion of Good Friday. Except that, the timings are 9 A.M to 4 P.M.

Best Time to Visit

The winter months (November to February) get chilly. The temperature falls sharply but if you enjoy the cold, it will make up for a great vacation.

During the months of March to May, the temperature is a little higher with occasional rainfall. Sight-seeing is best during this time of the year.

How to Reach

The nearest airport to the Tata Tea museum is Cochin International Airport which is at a distance of about 70 kilometres. From there, you can take a bus or book a cab to reach the city of Munnar. The museum is merely 12 kilometres from the main city. The transportation facilities are smooth and you will face no problem at all.

If you are planning to travel by train, the closest railway station would be Aluva.  It takes a little longer from here but the journey is beautiful.
