As this hill station remains covered by snow throughout the winter months, the best time to visit the Kausani tea estate would be between April and October. If you do not want to take risk then, you can avoid visiting Kausani in the monsoon season because of the frequent landslides that occur due to the torrential rainfall.

The Kausani Tea Estate is barely located 2 km away from the main bus stand of Kausani. So, you can easily walk to that place while enjoying the panoramic view around or hire a shared taxi. There are private buses too that will take you to the tea estate.
