Months                     Conditions               Our Recommendation
March to JuneMost of the tourist prefer summer time, as the climate is really pleasant. You will surely enjoy sightseeing and other tourist activities including trekking and camping.Popular Tourist Season
July to SeptemberMonsoon is a little risky time to visit Kasol, as the place receives rainfall at times. There are chances of landslides but you will get good deals during these months.Ideal Time
October to FebruaryWinter times are also less favourable as the winters are harsh here. Roads get blocked. Only if you crave to go and are physically fit, only then you should go.Off Season

Summers in Kasol are when the tourist season kicks in for stays. The days are warm, but not as uncomfortably hot as the rest of India, and it is the perfect time to go sightseeing to the enormous number of attractive tourist spots here, or indulge in adventure sports like trekking to get your adrenaline going. This is the time when tourists throng to the place so you may like to complete your hotel booking well in advance.

Monsoons in Kasol are for tourists who are willing to stretch their definition of comfort a bit. That being said, although Kasol is beautiful like always, it is not a good time to make a visit to it now. As with all hilly regions, the land turns unsafe and uncommunicative as landslides and natural disasters are common, and sightseeing is dampened to almost nil by rains. Adventure sports are out of the question as well and another potential danger source is the chance of cloudbursts.

Winters in Kasol shouldn’t be visited if you are not intensely interested exclusively in watching the snow fall. The winters are harshly, bitingly cold and people may face physical discomfort. It may be too cold to go sightseeing or perform outdoor activities. On the upside, you can book tickets at your leisure because the place isn’t really crowded at this time of the year.

How to Reach Kasol

Kasol can be reached by air through the nearest Bhuntar airport, after which you can take a taxi to your hotel. By rail, you can alight at the Chandigarh or Pathankot railway stations and then hire conveyance to hotels. By road, there are buses of Himachal Pradesh that ply to Kasol, also connecting into the circuit places like Dharamshala.
