Mayem, which is also known as Maya lake, is a freshwater lake and a very popular picnic spot. It offers fun activities like boating and bird watching. This place has a park close to the lake where you can have a gala time munching and playing with each other. There are also resorts and restaurants nearby the lake if you wish to stay overnight.

5. Cansaulim Monte

Cansaulim is a small village in the southern part of Goa. It is perched at the top of a hill on South Goan coast. It is a very admirable and peaceful place to relax. The Church here is very well known for the Chapel of Three Kings where a frolic festival is held in which kids enact an ancient story. Music and dance also accompany the event. A fest is held in which people come together, eat, drink and exchange souvenirs thus making it a delightful evening. This place is not just loved by kids but also by the elderly people. It will give you a very lively and enriching experience.
