Welcome to God's Own Country, Kerala. It is a very easy place to simply sit back and enjoy. Kerala is a land of coconuts and Back waters. Its palms shade nearly the entire state from the tropical sun. Many visitors call the beaches of Kerala, the best in India. Along with its beautiful sunny beaches, Kerala has lot more to offer like tranquil stretches of emerald backwaters, exotic wildlife, lush green hill stations, ayurvedic resorts & Spas, religious places, historic monuments, all of which give a unique experience to the tourists every time. Kerala is one of the ten 'Paradises' declared by the National Geographic Traveler, for its diverse geography and overwhelming greenery. Kerala is for those people who are not in rush and wish their holidays as relaxing, peaceful, soothing and rejuvenating, so that they can feel fresh (not tired) after the Tour.

All the important places have been covered in this tour to give you a complete experience of Kerala.

Day 01 : Arrival in Cochin
Arrival at Cochin Airport and be met with our executive welcoming you to Kerala with fresh flowers. Transfer to the hotel for immediate occupancy of the rooms already reserved for you. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 02 : Cochin
Today go for the City Tour of Cochin with exclusive guide. Your sightseeing will include all the attractions of Cochin like Mattancherry Dutch Palace (built by the Portuguese and presented to the king of Cochin in 1555 A.D. It acquired the present name after 1663 when the Dutch carried out extensions and repairs in the palace), the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church (Located at the Fort, this Protestant church was originally built by the Portuguese in 1510 AD and is believed to be the oldest church built by the Europeans in India), Chinese fishing Nets, Hill Palace Museum, MUSEUM OF KERALA HISTORY etc. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 03 : Cochin to Munnar (130 Kms)
In the morning, drive through some of India's most stunning mountain scenery through the Cardamom hills to the old hill station of Munnar. This sceneric drive will take approx 4 hours. Once, the summer resort for Britishers during the Colonial days, the Munnar has now become one of the most important Tea plantation town in India. Munnar's natural, breathtaking scenery and fairytale beauty makes it a "Must Visit" for every tourist coming to Kerala. After noon visit to Eravikulam National Park (the home of rare mountain goats which are fast becoming extinct. The park is breathtakingly beautiful and comparable to the best mountain ranges of the world. The local fauna & flora can be seen at very close quarters here). Overnight in Munnar.

Day 04 : Munnar
Today, do the sightseeing of Munnar including Mattupetty (famous for its highly specialised dairy farm, the Indo: swiss live stock project), Pothamedu (this place offers an excellent view of the tea, coffee and cardamom plantations in Munnar), The Christ Church, and if time permits, also visit Nyayamakad and Rajamala. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 05 : Munnar to Thekkady - Periyar (110 Kms)
In the morning, proceed towards Thekkady by car passing through coconut and rubber plantations on the way. Periyar is one of India's most interesting wildlife sanctuaries, where one can watch wildlife at close range. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. The wildlife includes the majestic wild elephants, Nilgiri langur, wild boar, wild dog, bison, bear and leopards. A cruise through the waters of Periyar lake around which the wild : life sanctuary is situated, offers a soul : stirring pleasant experience. After check: into Hotel, go for the boat: cruise in the sanctuary to view wildlife. Overnight in Thekkady.

Day 06 : Thekkady to Kumarakom (127 Kms)
In the morning, drive towards Kumarakom. It is undoubtedly the most invigorating, fascinating destination in Kerala. The slender coconut palms, paddy fields, meandering lagoons and above all backwaters are main attraction of the town. During your visit to Kumarakom, you can visit the places like Aruvikkuzhi Waterfalls, the ancient town of Kottayam (famous for its churches, especially the 700 years: old churches), Bay Island Museum, Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and world famous magnificent Back Waters. Kumarakom is one of the very few places in the world, where main mode of transportation is through the water ways. Overnight at Houseboat / Resort in Kumarakom.

Day 07 : Kumarakom to Alleppey (65 Kms)
Check out from the Hotel and board the boat for a leisurely cruise on Lake Vembanad to Alleppey. The boat will go through the timeless backwaters of Kerala where you will be able to see the local people going about their traditional way of life and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the area. The bird life is also extraordinary and can be viewed from one of the many vantage points along the lakes shore. This evening you can enjoy the sunset on the cruise. Overnight stay at House Boat.

Day 08 : Alleppey to Kovalam (170 Kms)
Alleppey is also called Alappuzha. It means the land between the sea and rivers flowing into it. Today in the morning, you will disembark in Alleppey. Go for the local sightseeing including Mullakkal Rajeswari Temple, Ambalapuzha Temple (Constructed in the typical Kerala architecture), Arthunkal Church (built by Portuguese), Edathua Church (it is St. George's church and believed that prayers and offerings here help in healing all kinds of mental disorders and other ailments). After sightseeing, proceed towards Kovalam by car. The drive will take approx 3 hours. Overnight in Kovalam.

Day 09 : Kovalam
Kovalam is the all time favorite beach resort in Kerala. With its evergreen and pleasant climate, Kovalam is a dreamland for tourists all over the world. The warm and clean atmosphere by the coconut trees with luring surroundings, azure sea and soft sand, Kovalam is the perfect destination for the people looking forward to relaxing and rejuvenating holidays. The Kovalam Beaches are divided into three parts: the Lighthouse beach, the Hawah beach and the Samundra beach. Each of the parts are having their own importance. Today, whole day is free to enjoy on the beach. You can also try the massages in the Spas of Kovalam or the Ayurvedic Treatment in any of the ayurvedic centers around. Kovalam is also World famous for its Ayurvedic treatments. Overnight in Kovalam.

Day 10 : Kovalam - Trivendram - Kovalam
In the morning, proceed towards Thiruvananthapuram (16 Kms) which is also known as Trivendram. It is an ancient city and believed to be more than 3000 years old. The meaning of Thiruvananthapuram is Thiru: anantha: puram, the abode of the sacred Serpent Anantha on which Lord Vishnu reclines. Trivendram is a coastal city built on seven hills. Trivendram got its glory when it became the capital of kingdom of Travancore In 1750. Even now also, it is capital of state of Kerala. You city tour will include; Padmanabhapuram Palace (was the home of the Royal family of Travancore and one of the biggest palaces in India), Veli Tourist Village (a famous tourist attraction), Padmanabha Swamy Temple (it is 2000 years old temple), Kuthiramalika Palace (it houses a museum which displays, priceless paintings & collections of the royal family) etc. If time permits, you can also see some of the historic Churches and Napier Museum. After sightseeing, proceed back to Kovalam. Overnight in Kovalam.

Day 11 : Kovalam to Trivendram Airport (20 Kms)
Today, proceed to Trivendram Airport as per your flight timings to catch the flight back home.
