One of the most hair-raising experience of all is guaranteed by bungee jumping off the location of Mohan Chatti which is present at about a height of 140 feet. Jumping off the top and witnessing the view as we free fall with just a rope tied to your body is one which requires a lot of courage and self-confidence. An added advantage of this location is that it even offers a certificate as proof of the jump.

Rishikesh is famous all over the country for the river rafting experience that it offers. With just a small prep, the team is guided through the turns and twists of water by the guide who is thorough throughout the journey. In places where the water is calm, people can even get out of the raft and into the water with a rope around their waist which is attached to the raft. This is a spirited activity which definitely has to done by everyone at least once in their lifetime.

5. Giant Swing

Giant Swing is also carried out at the location of Mohan Chatti. In this charged sport, a person jumps off a spot quite similarly to bungee jumping. The difference here which makes this a much more better experience, is that once the person reaches a level, the rope at which they are attached, starts swinging from one side to other. The thrill of hanging upside down and swinging sidewise is not for the faint-hearted.

6. Cliff Jumping

Cliff jumping is a highly electrifying activity in which a person just jumps off a cliff and free falls into the cool waters below. With a multitude of locations from which this activity can be performed, it is usually started from a height of about 32 feet for beginners. The exhilarating feel as one falls without any control and splashes into the waters below is one to not be missed by anyone visiting Rishikesh.

Another activity to experience the feeling of flying high in the sky while having an amazing view of the picturesque location below is what parasailing entails. In this sport, a person is attached to a parachute which is moved forward by a vehicle on the ground. The soul-stirring feeling as we float high up for about those 4 minutes gives us a great perspective on the beauty and magnificence of nature.

Rishikesh is a booming tourist location with special emphasis on adventure sports. With tons of adrenaline rushing sports to explore and experience, Rishikesh is a place which guarantees an experience of a lifetime, not just in terms of the spirituality for which it is famous, but also for its thrill.
