with its world famous Wildlife Sanctauaries.Day 01 : Arrival in Delhi
Arrival in Delhi and be met by our representative at the airport welcoming you to India with fresh flowers. Transfer to the Hotel for immediate occupancy of the rooms already reserved for you. As most of the International flights arrive late in the evening, we have kept this day free. And in the case where your flight arrives during daytime, other optional activities (like visit to amusement park, shopping Tours etc) can be provided or you can also just spend the day at leisure to get rid of jet leg. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi
Today explore the city of Delhi with exclusive guide. This is the capital city of India and has a very good combination of both modern, as well as ancient culture. During its 2000 years of existence, there has been the origin of seven cities, where the traditional Indian capital is now situated. Your sightseeing will include all the major attractions of Delhi like Red fort (The premises of the Red Fort houses a number of beautiful buildings), Jama Masjid (It is the largest mosque in India and was built in 17th Century),Chandni chowk (which was once the richest street market in the world), Qutub Minar (This historic tower dated back to 12th century), Humayun's Tomb and the government buildings like Parliament House, President House, India Gate,etc. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 03 : Delhi to Agra (203 Kms)
Agra is one of the most prominent destinations in the Indian tourism circuit due to its monuments like - Taj Mahal & Agra Fort. Agra is also famous for its handicrafts products like Inley Marvel work, Leather work, Footwear etc. Your City Tour will include magnificent TAJ MAHAL -about which legion of tributes have been written (So overwhelming is this magic monument, that Agra has been immortalized as the City of the Taj), Sikandra (the Tomb of King Akbar) and Agra fort (buit in 1565 A.D, It has a total perimeter of 2.4 k.m. There are number of exquisite rich palaces in it). Overnight in Agra after this hectic and most satisfying tour.
Day 04 : Agra to Bharatpur (56 Kms)
In
the morning proceed for Bharatpur via Fateh Pur Sikri. The Fateh Pur Sikri
was the ancient capital of King Akbar. This deserted city lies along the top
of a ridge. There is no population now but the splendid palaces and mosques
remain as a dream. However, this ghost city, is a must visit for its
buildings, and can be classified into religious and architectural wonders.
It is also famous for the beautiful marvel tomb of Holy saint Sheikh Salim
Chishti. After sightseeing, continue journey to Bharatpur. Evening is free
tp pay a visit to Bird Sanctuary. Overnight in Bharatpur. Day 05 : Bharatpur to Jaipur (200 Kms)
Keoladeo Ghana or Bharatpur National Park is one of the most spectacular Bird Sanctuaries in India. Sambar, chital, nilgai and boar can also be find here easily. More than 350 species of birds are found in this small park of 29 sq. km. While many of India's National Parks have been developed from the hunting preserves of Royal families of India, Keoladeo Ghana is perhaps the only case where the habitat has been created by a Maharaja. A third of the birds found here are migrants, many of whom spend their winters in Bharatpur, before returning to their home towns in Siberia and Central Asia. Migratory birds at Keoladeo include, as large birds as Dalmatian pelican and as small as Siberian disky leaf warbler. Out of all the migrants, the most sought after is the Siberian Crane or the great white crane, which is on the edge of extinction. As motor vehicles are not allowed inside the park, you can take either bikes or rickshaw to explore this Bird Sanctuarie. After visiting Park, proceed towards Jaipur by car in the evening. Reach there at Dinner time. Overnight at Heritage Hotel in Jaipur.
Day 06 : Jaipur
The picturesque capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is also known as the Pink city. There is a timeless appeal in the colorful bazaars of Jaipur, where one can shop for Rajasthani items like handlooms and trinkets. Attractive monuments, marvelous Havelis (mansion) & Palaces and superb forts are worthy of admiration. Start your city Tour with an early morning visit to the Fort of Amer, which was the capital of ancient Rajputs. Ride up to the gates on elephant back and explore the great fortress palace buildings. Spend rest of the time visiting - City Palace (Royal family members of Jaipur still lives there), Jantar Mantar Observatory (This is the largest of five observatories built during 18th century), Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal) and other local attractions in Jaipur. A dinner (optional) can also be arranged in an ethnic restaurant to get the true flavour of Rajasthani culture, hospitality and its cuisine. Overnight at Heritage Hotel in Jaipur.
Day 07 : Jaipur to Ranthambore (160 Kms)
In the morning, proceed to Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore) by car. The drive will take three hours. The National Park of Ranthambore is one of the finest tiger reserves in the country. Ranthambhor sanctuary has a large numbers of sambar, chittal, nilgai, chinkara, langurs, wild boar and peafowl. While deer congregate here to drink water, fresh water crocodiles, can be seen basking in the winter sun to regulate their body temperature. The lake also attracts a large number of migratory and local birds. The wild population of the Park includes leopard, hyena, Jackal, Jungle cat, sloth bear and pythons. The Tiger, roam freely during the daytime and can be seen at close quarters. Go for the evening safari in open canter with naturalist (wild life Guide). Overnight in Sawai Madhopur at a Jungle Resort.
Day 08 : Ranthambore to Kota (150 Kms)
Go for a very early morning (0530 hrs) Jungle safari in open canter with
naturalist (wild life Guide). Come back by the time of breakfast. Today,you
will also have a chance to visit Ranthambore Fort. Ranthambores gloriously
past manifests itself in this fort. Built in 10th Century atop steep high
creek, the fort wall runs round the summit and has a number of semi-circular
bastions, some with sheer drops of over 65 m and stunning views. Ruined
pavilions, walls and splendid monuments are interspersed within the majestic
fort. After that, Proceed towards Kota in the afternoon. The drive will take
approx 3 hours. Evening is free. Overnight at a heritage Palace / Mansion in
Kota. Day 09 : Kota to Udaipur (270 Kms)
Kota is an amazing example of majestic medieval age architecture. It was founded in 12th century AD. Kotas heritage wealth of impressive forts, Palaces and centuries old temples are still retaining their former glory. The places of tourist attraction are Maharao Madho Singh Museum (situated in the old palace, the museum has a superb collection of Rajput miniature paintings, exquisite sculptures, frescoes and armoury), Jag Mandir (situated on a small island, is the beguiling little palace of Jagmandir. Built in 1740 by one of the maharanies of Kota), Government Museum (the museum displays a rich collection of rare coins, 4th century various sculptures, several miniature paintings of Bundi, Kota, Nathdwara and Jaipur etc), Haveli of Devtaji (this beautiful Haveli is noted for its splendid frescoes and rooms ornate with lovely wall paintings) and the ancient Temples. You sightseeing will include all of these major attractions. After sightseeing, drive towards Udaipur. Reach Udaipur late in the evening. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 10 : Udaipur to Jodhpur (240 Kms)
The city of Udaipur is also known as City of lakes or Venice of the East. It is an enchanting city in true manner. It is a vision in white, drenched in romance and beauty. From the azure water lakes in the midst of sandy terrain, surrounded by the lush hills of the Aravalis, Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sounds and experience. Go for the sightseeing of Udaipur including all major attractions like City Palace (the former residence of King of Udaipur), Sahelio ki Badi (the former play ground exclusively for Princess of Rajasthan), Jagdeesh Temple (has very much historic and religious values for Hindus), Rana Pratap Memorial etc. After sightseeing, proceed to Jodhpur. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Day 11 : Jodhpur to Khimsar (92 Kms)
The Blue City of Rajasthan, Jodhpur is the second biggest city and is on the edge of Thar Desert. It was established in the 15th century and has become the largest and the most progressive of the Rajput states. In Jodhpur, the genius of the sculptors comes to life in its exquisite palaces, forts, temples and havelis, which stand as a testimony to the imperial grandeur. Your tour will include all the major attractions of Jodhpur with Mehrangarh Fort. This 15th century Fort situated on a 150 m high hill, its sprawl is the most formidable and magnificent fort in Rajasthan. The Fort has witnessed many attacks on it by the armies of Amer, Jaipur, Mughals etc in the past. Battle scars of canon ball hit by attacking armies of Jaipur can still be seen on one of the gates. The grand palaces within- Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sileh Khana and Daulat Khana are impressive examples of architectural excellence. Near the fort complex lies Jaswant Thada, and a group of royal cenotaphs made of white marble. After sightseeing, proceed towards rural town of Khimsar. The drive will take two hours. Check-in to 16th Century Khimsar Fort which has been converted into Deluxe Heritage Hotels. A section of the fort remains the residence of the royal family. It was decided to open the gates for tourists who would like to travel down the ages and experience the living & style of Maharajas. Overnight in Khimsar Fort.
Day 12 : Khimsar to Mandawa (via Nagaur) 260 Kms
Today you will have the Tour of Khimsar Fort and a wild life tour including Panchla black buck safari by open jeep in the morning. After that, proceed towards Mandawa enroute visit to Nagaur Fort. It was built in the 10th century and even larger than the Mehrangarh fort of Jodhport. The Fort is recipient of the UNESCO international award for restoration. After sightseeing of Fort, continue your journey to Mandawa. Check-into Castle Mandawa which has been converted into a luxurious heritage hotel. Its medieval turreted towers, palanquin-roofed balconies, old-world rooms (but with all the modern comforts), antique cannons & arms increase the charm of this Fort. Here the time is measured by its traditional way, a huge brass gong struck by the fort timekeepers every hour. As the evening is free, you can explore Castle at your own. Overnight in Castle Mandawa.
Day 13 : Mandawa to Delhi (257 Kms)
Mandawa, a remote feudal principality was a trading outpost for the ancient caravans. The Rajput ruler of Mandawa, built the castle in 1755 to protect this outpost. When the caravan traffic ceased in the late 18th century, the traders created business empires in other parts of the country, but returned to Mandawa to build palatial mansions in their hometown. In the morning, visit the town and its mansions. After sightseeing, proceed to Delhi by car. You will be in Delhi in the evening. The driver will drop you to International Airport to catch your flight back home. Please Note that, all the passengers are supposed to report at least 3 hours in advance at the airport before catching any international flight due to security reasons in India.
