Pushkar is a city of history and heritage. There
exists amidst the parts of the World a City which is not only know for its
culture and heritage but for the increasing number of tourists across the
globe. Yes it is Pushkar which we are talking about. Situated 132 kms south
of Jaipur, Pushkar has so many God beauties things that can eaily grab
anyone's eye. It lies along the picturesque of the Pushkar lake. The Legend
has it that Pushkar once housed many famous temples which were highly
treated by the then rulers of Rajasthan
Travel Attractions of Pushkar
The deity of Lord Bhrama raised in the Brahma temple is undoubtedly a unique piece projecting the architectural heritage. This temple has been a major tourist attraction and is said have its origin in 14th Century besides it also houses other eminent temples of Savithri, Mahadeva, Ranji and Varaha temples respectively.
Brahma Temple and Lake Pushkar : According to the Hindu Mythology Lord Siva cursed Brahma- the four head deity fortune writer that he will not have temples any where on the land. Pushkar is the only place which has a Temple belonging to 14th Century. Here a life size monument of deity touching the roof of the temple can be seen . On the other hand Pushkar lake is the place where all Hindus take a ritual bath annualy for Karthik Purnima.
Surrounded by 500 temples, 52 palaces and ghats each,this lake is said to be the holy one as Lord Bhrama performed the unsusal yagna.
Ghats : The holy lake has 52 ghats.
Pushkar Fair : Every year, during the full day of Kartik Purnima, usually around October- November, thousands of devotees assembled the Pushkar lake to take a holy dip. The huge and colourful Cattle fair also is know for Camel trading, Camel racing and other interesting activities besides Dancing, music and colourful shops being the other attractions.

Bazaar : The main bazaar of Pushkar is the best place to buy silver and
beaded jewelery, embroidered fabrics, bed and cushion covers. Rajasthani
puppets and fusion music are also can be found here in agreat deal.
Savitri Temple : On the top of the Ratnagiri Hill, this temple is situated .It has been named after Savithri. A beautiful deity of Godess Savithri who can be seen interior the temple.

Kuchaman : The life story of Meera Bai can be seen in miniature paintings inside the Meera Mahal. Lok Dev Temple which was built by Ranjit Singh to honour the sacrifices of the masses. Meena Bazzar and the China Pole also can be visited
Ajmer : Located just 11 Kms from Pushkar, Ajmer is famous for the Dargah of the 13th century Sufi Saint Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti . In other attractions in Ajmer has Anna Sagar Lake, the Nasiyan Temple, and the Arhai Din ka Jhonpra.

By Air : Jaipur Sanganeir Airport is the nearest airport which is just 138 Km from the Pushkar.
By Rail : Pushkar town is situated about 11 kms West of Ajmer. Ajmer has regular trains to Agra jaipur,Udaipur jodhpur and ajmer railway station is the nearest railway station to ajmer. Pink City Express and Shatabdi Express , two of the premier trains of the Indian Railways, connect Ajmer to Delhi and Jaipur.
Road : Ajmer are well connected by a solid network of roads to the all majorcities of india
