The Jaisalmer Fort : This golden Fort is located on the top of the Trikuta Hill .It can be seen from even15 kilometres from Jaisalmer. When seen from a distance the Jaisalmer fort seemed to be rising from the heart of the Thar Desert . This creates a golden aura and such a view which cant be missed by anyone.

Patwon Ki Haveli : The Patwon ki haveli is the heroic mansion in Jaisalmer.Its ceiling is supported by exquisitely carved pillars. Its balconies and extended corridors and chambers of this haveli.

Jain Temples : These temples built in 12th - 15th century within the Jaisalmer Fort. These temples are dedicated to Sambhavnathji and Rikhabdevji. Within the temple complex there is a library,Gyan Bhandar, has some extremely old manuscripts.
If anyone interested in the history and sulture and heritage of the Jaisalmer then Desert Culture Centre & Museum ,Jaisalmer Folklore Museum ,Government Museum will be the right destination for them.
It has some real good shooping area where pure rajasthani arts handlooms and handi crafts can be found. Sadar Bazaar and Sonaron Ka Bas, Manak Chowk, Pansari Bazaar and also Rajasthali - Government shop for handicrafts and Khadi Gramodyog are some place where one will love to shop.


Excursions
Desert National Park is situated near Jaisalmer.With an area of 3162 km² this palce is the one of the largest national park of India. It offers a wide variety of species of flora and fauna who dwells in the desert.
For the venturing perpose there are many places in the sourounding of Jaisalmer like Bhattiani Sati Rani, Bada Bagh ,Bada Bagh Panorama in the afternoon, Amar Sagar, Lodhruva, Mool Sagar, Kuldhara, Sam sand dunes, Khuri village etc.


How to reach
Jaisalmer is easily accessible through air, train or road.
By Air : Indian Airlines flights fly to Jodhpur, Jaipur, Mumbai and Delhi from Jaisalmer.

By Rail : IJPJ and Jodhpur express runs daily from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur.

By Road : Many deluxe buses runs daily from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur, Jaipur, Bikaner.A road service joins Jaisalmer with many other destinations in and around Rajasthan.
