Day 01 : Arrival In Delhi :-
Arrival
in Delhi and be met by our representative at the airport welcoming you to
India with fresh flowers. Transfer to the Hotel for immediate occupancy of
the rooms already reserved for you. As most of the International flights
arrive late in the evening, we have kept this day free. And in the case
where your flight arrives during daytime, other optional activities (like
visit to amusement park, shopping Tours etc) will be provided or you can
also just spend the day at leisure to get rid of jet leg. Overnight in
Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi :-
Today explore the city of Delhi with exclusive guide. This is the capital city of India, and can be called as a major gateway to the country. Delhi has a very good combination of both modern, as well as ancient culture. During last 2000 years of its existence, there has been the origin of seven cities, where the traditional Indian capital is now situated. Your sightseeing will include all the major attractions of Delhi like Red fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni chowk, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb and the government buildings like Parliament House, President House, India Gate,etc. Overnight in Agra.
Day 03 : Delhi To Varanasi :-
In the morning, proceed to domestic airport to catch the flight to Varanasi. Meet & greet at Varanasi airport with our representative followed by transfer to your Hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore the ancient city of Varanasi on your own. Varanasi is the holiest of Indian cities for Hindus. Unfortunately, some of the ancient temples and structures in Varanasi have been destroyed but still there are many remains which are mainly 18th and 19th century buildings. Later we will take you to Ghats of Ganges to see the evening ceromanies. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 05 : Varanasi To Khajuraho :-
After lunch, proceed to airport to catch the Indian Airlines flight to Khajuraho. Meet & greet at Khajuraho Airporty followed by transfer to your Hotel (please note that you can also go to Khajuraho by previous days overnight train instead of air). In the evening, you can go for Light & Sound show held at Main Temples. Overnight in Khajuraho.
Day 06 : Khajuraho :-
In the temple architecture of India, the Khajuraho remains unique and best. One thousand years ago, 85 temples, magnificent in form and richly carved, came up on one site, at the Khajuraho but today, of the original 85, only 22 have survived the ravages of time. Some of the temples are world famous for Erotica of Khajuraho. These temples are the most exquisite specimen of Hindu architecture and sculpture in medieval India. Though erotic sculptures are the main attraction to common visitor, these erotic figures are only part of sublime and sensuality. The architectural style of the Khajuraho temples is very different from the temple prototype of that period. The temples of Khajuraho are divided into three geographical groups: Western, Eastern and Southern. Your sightseeing will include all of these temples. Overnight in Khajuraho.
Day 07 : Khajuraho To Agra (Via Orchha) :-
In
the morning, drive from Khajuraho TO Orchha (approx 4 hrs drive). Orchha's
grandeur has been captured in stone and its temples. In this medieval city,
the hand of time has rested lightly and the palaces and temples built by its
Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th centuries retain much of their pristine
perfection. The main attractions of Orchha are: Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal,
beautifully landscaped gardens of Anand Mahal, with its octagonal flower
beds and elaborate water supply system. Skillfully carved niches allow light
into the Mahal (Palace) which has a main hall and smaller chambers. Other
important place of Tourist interest are Chaturbhuj Temple, Laxminarayan
Temple, Phool Bagh etc. After Tour of Orchha, take lunch inside the Palace
complex itself at Sheesh Mahal which has been converted into
Heritage Hotel. In the evening, catch the train to Agra. Overnight in Agra.
Day 08 : Agra :-:-
Agra is one of the most prominent destinations in the Indian tourism circuit due to its monuments like - Taj Mahal & Agra Fort. Agra is also famous for its handicrafts products like Inley Marvel work, Leather work, Footwear etc. Your City Tour will include magnificent TAJ MAHAL -about which legion of tributes have been written (So overwhelming is this magic monument, that Agra has been immortalized as the City of the Taj, it is also recently included in the 7 WONDERS OF THE WORLD), Sikandra (the Tomb of King Akbar) and Agra fort (buit by great Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. It has a total perimeter of 2.4 k.m. There are number of exquisite rich palaces in it). Overnight in Agra.
Day 09 : Agra To Jaipur Via Fatehpur Sikri (240 Kms) :-
In the morning, proceed for Jaipur. Enroute visit to Fatehpur Sikri, the ancient capital of King Akbar. This deserted city lies along the top of a ridge. There is no population there but the splendid palaces and mosques remain as a dream. This ghost city, is worth a view for its buildings. After sightseeing, continue journey to Jaipur, reach there by late afternoon. The evening is free for your shopping or other pleasure activities. You can also experience the magic of Jaipur by taking a walk in the bye lanes of old city. A dinner (optional) can also be arranged in an ethnic restaurant to get the true flavour of Rajasthani culture, hospitality and its cuisine. Overnight at Heritage Hotel in Jaipur.
Day 10 : Jaipur :-
The picturesque capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is also known as the Pink city. Start your city Tour with an early morning visit to the Fort of Amer (about 11 kms from Jaipur). Amer or Amber was the capital of ancient Rajputs for many centuries. Ride up to the gates on elephant back and explore the great fortress palace buildings. The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture stunningly situated on a hilltop. After Amer, come back to Jaipur and spend rest of the day in and around Pink City visiting -City Palace (The royal family of Jaipur still lives in part of the palace), Jantar Mantar Observatory (This is the largest of five observatories built during 18th century), Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal) and other local attractions in Jaipur. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 11 : Jaipur To Udaipur :-
Take the morning flight to Udaipur. Meet & greet at Udaipur Airport followed by transfer to Hotel. The city of Udaipur is also known as City of lakes or Venice of the East. Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sounds and experience. It is like a kaleidoscope of Palaces, lakes, temples etc. Many visitors & tourists rate it as most Romentic City in Rajasthan. Go for the sightseeing of Udaipur including all major attractions like City Palace, Sahelio ki Badi, Jagdeesh Temple, Rana Pratap Memorial etc. You can also go for a romantic lake cruise during sunset (optional). Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 12 : Udaipur To Aurangabad :-
Proceed to airport in the morning to catch the flight for Aurangabad. Arrive in Aurangabad and be met by our representative at the airport followed by transfer to hotel. After check-in to Hotel, go for the loacl sightseeing of Aurangabad. Your sightseeing will include; the Museums like Sunheri Mahal / Chhatrapati Shivaji Museum, Bibi Ka Makbara and Daulatabad Fort. Once known as Devgiri, this fort served as the head quarters of the powerful Yadava rulers. In the 13th century, the Sultan of Delhi made it his capital and renamed it Daulatabad, or City of Fortune. Overnight in Aurangabad.
Day 13 : Aurangabad To Ajanta + Ellora & Back :-
In the morning, go for the excursion of Ajanta & Ellora. The Ajanta Caves date back to the 2nd century BC. The 30 rock caves are adorned with Buddhist sculpture and frescoes. The rock-out Caves of Ajanta nestle in a panoramic gorge, in the form of a gigantic horseshoe. The paintings that adorn the walls and ceilings of the Caves depict incidents from the life of the Buddha and the various Buddhist divinities. The cave at Ellora, excavated out of the vertical face of an escarpment, are 29 km north of Aurangabad which encompass 34 rock cut shrines representing Buddhist, Hindu & Jain art dating from the 4th to 9th century AD. Ellora has been designed as a World Heritage Site, to be preserved as an artistic legacy that will continue to inspire and enrich the lives of generations to come. Overnight in Aurangabad after this hectic and most satisfying tour.
Day 14 : Aurangabad To Mumbai :-
Take the morning flight to Mumbai. Arrival in Mumbai and be met by our representative at the airport welcoming you to the Commercial capital of India. Transfer to the hotel. Mumbai formerly called Bombay, is also entertainment hub of India which produces maximum movies in a year and thats why most of the people call it Hollywood of India. After check-in to Hotel, go for afternoon half day city tour visiting the Gateway of India (This famous monument was built to welcome the visit of the British Monarch, King George V and Queen Mary), Marine Drive (also known as Queen's Necklace because of the dramatic curve of street lights at night that form the shape of a necklace), Hanging Gardens and the Prince of Wales Museum. Overnight in Mumbai.
Day 15 : Mumbai To Chennai :-
Morning excursion to Elephanta caves by boat- an island 9 kms from Mumbai and reached by deluxe catamaran service. The islands are famous for the rock cut cave temples dating back to 4-9 century AD. The caves have been cut from rocks with large sculptured interiors. After Elephanta excursion, come back to city and proceed towards Domestic Airport to catch the flight to Chennai. Arrival in Chennai and be met with our executive welcoming you to Chennai (most important city of South India). Transfer to the hotel for immediate occupancy of the rooms already reserved for you. Overnight in Chennai.
Day 16 : Chennai :-
Chennai, the cultural center and gateway to Tamil Nadu is a fascinating jumble, dominated by glittering high-rise emporia and corporate buildings. But between all these, Chennai still has a traditional charm of its ancient past. Shored along the Bay of Bengal, Chennai has evolved from a tiny fishing village to the countrys fourth-largest city. Your sightseeing will include all the major attractions of the city like Fort St. George, 17th century British military High court, Marina Beach, Government Museum Complex, Parthasarathi Temple, Sri Kapaleswarar Temple etc. Overnight in Chennai.
Day 17 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (Approx 140 Kms Total) :-
In the morning, proceed towards Mahabalipuram (Mammallapuram) via Kanchipuram, which was the ancient capital of the Pallavas. It is famous as a city of 1000 Temples and still has 124 shrines. The first temple dedicated to Shiva was built in the 7th and 8th century and has paintings on the walls. Temples of Ekambaswara, Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi and Varadarajaswamy are of interest. Kanchipuram is also famous for its silks and Sarees. After sightseeing
of
Kanchipuram, continue journey to Mahabalipuram. Overnight at a beach resort
in Mahabalipuram.
Day 18 : Mahabalipuram :-
Among the most outstanding examples of architecture, Mammallapuram or commanly known as Mahabalipuram stands as a silent witness to the glory of its creators and sculptors. Breathtakingly manmade & natural beauty of Mahabalipuram attracts tourists, due to its monumental splendor and sunny beaches. Sightseeing Tour of the city including all the Temples and monuments like seven pagoda (Shore temples, lashed by the waves of the sea) and the seven Rathas (temple chariots), animal figures carved out of solid rock (the earliest known examples of Dravidian architecture) etc. Most of them were constructed during 7th Century. Day 19 : Mahabalipuram To Chennai (40 Kms) :-
Today drive back to Chennai to catch your flight back home with the wonderful memories of your Indian tour.
